Day 3 - got through it but blooming heck what a long long day!!! Managed to busy myself with my filing at the normal fag break time (actually most of it ended up in the shredder it was so old!). Towards the end of the day everyone had noticed I hadn't been out and got a mix of reaction to laughter, guilt and encouragement. Did think that I'd be ok to have just one but now I'm home really glad I didn't.
Took some chopped up carrots with me and think I've overdosed on them a bit! (plus couldn't get them to light!!!).
Really pleased with myself that I haven't cheated (as normal), and especially as I've got pmt and fed up that I've put on weight over the last two weeks (not through giving up obviously just over indulging), I think I'm actually coping quite well - although would be nice for someone else to think that!! (dh, kids, friends, etc!) lol.

First day in work and day three some people find day three a bit hard. your doing great dont even think of having one it will make it really hard for you. Just think by the end of this week you will feel on top of the world and so proud and all your work mates will be well gutted. on to day 4 you show them all.xxx
Must admit I wasn't particularly productive today and spent all afternoon trying to read this forum on my phone! (can only access forums during lunch time!). Still am quite pleased with myself so far, tomorrow is another day.
Congratulatons!!!! It's hard but it does get easier. I'm finding the cravings not as bad as they were. I smoked for a long time and if I can make it to day 21 so can you.

Lol i was going to write 'can't you ask your friend to ring back later and let you browse this forum in peace?'
The ones giving you encouragement are probably all non-smokers or ex-smokers.
The ones with the laughter and guilt reaction will be smokers because they will feel a pang of jealousy that you are choosing to be free of the evil weed.
Well done for choosing the carrot sticks though...I seem to have replaced my ciggies with caramel digestives.
Well done Don your more than half way through the week CONGRATS things will start to get easyer now you show them work mate what your made of. On to day 5.xxxxxxx
