Hi Sweets,

Congratulations on getting to day 10. Im on day 38 and it gets a lot easier.

I've put on about 1/2 stone since giving up, so i'd consider the gym if I was you. (havent had time to join one myself yet, hoping to next week).

After years of not eating anything until around 2-3 in the afternoon, I started eating breakfast soon after quitting, so it will happen, but its better than smoking that filthy stuff. :-)

Regards

Paul

Hi Sweet :)

Well done on day 10 double figures is a good milestone to reach especially as you thought it was day 8/9

Keep it going you'll soon be counting months now

Try not to worry about a little extra weight just now one thing at a time eh and the extra weight will come off later in the quit

Below is my standard welcome and advice post which I try and give all new members

Welcome to the forum and well done on the decision to quit possibly one of the most important you will ever make and you will be losing nothing but you will regain control of your life and that has to be good

You will find all the help and support you need on here as we all help each other just like a family we are here for you every step of the way cheering the good days and sympathiseing with the bad but the good far outweigh the bad

Read the posts on here you will find a lot of tips and advice and in the signatures of a lot you will find links to other sites just click on them Here are 2 I find very good to start you off whyquit.com and woofmang.com Read, read and then read some more as the more you read and learn about why you smoked and about your addiction the easier your quit will be

Post often to let us know how you're doing, to rant, rave have a moan whatever you like pretty much anything goes on here OK

Love

Well done 10 days is brilliant you will never be in single figures again. Read lots and help yourself to understand the nicotine addiction, know what can happen, it makes you more informed and able to handle whatever happens.

Good luck.

Jackie
