Well done you!!! i could tell by the smiley you put on your post that it would be a good one to read :)

Nicely done.. hold on to this 'something wonderful' now, its yours to keep, you just have to maintain the golden rule that a good number of us are keeping going with now.. Not One Puff Ever

Not sure who wrote that , but i think... hmm is is chrissie that put that in a post? anyway i remember it, and in times of self-doubt, that is now springing more to my mind, and it works.

SO CONGRATS on getting to day 27.. 4* 7 = 28, so tomorrow is your 4 weeks (1 whole month) quit so i'm sure you are feeling on top of the world right now, so well done !! so very well done ;)

support required

Hi, Just found this site a few days ago, day 23 smoke free, first time writing something on here. I go to a group and the support is great, but nights are the worst time for me so here i am. Surprised myself at doing so well, but god i feel so boring now, even though that sounds crazy, i feel a bit confusd at who i am now. aaaaargh i hope i can reach the end of this mentally intact. Champix user so have to give that credit for guiding me this far.

Hi Lizzi :)

Well done you on day 23 that's great

I can understand the confusion over who you are now after all we all spent a lot of time planning our lives around the need to feed the addiction at regular intervals throughout the day

Below is my standard welcome and advice post which I try and give all new members

Welcome to the forum and well done on the decision to quit possibly one of the most important you will ever make and you will be losing nothing but you will regain control of your life and that has to be good

You will find all the help and support you need on here as we all help each other just like a family we are here for you every step of the way cheering the good days and sympathiseing with the bad but the good far outweigh the bad

Read the posts on here you will find a lot of tips and advice and in the signatures of a lot you will find links to other sites just click on them Here are 2 I find very good to start you off whyquit.com and woofmang.com Read, read and then read some more as the more you read and learn about why you smoked and about your addiction the easier your quit will be

This link is good for the psychological part of quitting

whyquit.com/whyquit/A_Sympt...

Post often to let us know how you're doing, to rant, rave have a moan whatever you like pretty much anything goes on here OK

Love

Marg
