Just got back from a short UK break with the family, and the wife decided she deserved a few smokes on holiday, and that I should get off her case for a bit. She claimed that she can smoke 1x100 length menthol fag a day, split into two smokes.
Needless to say, by day 4, she was smoking within 30 mins of waking up, 10 a day and rising.
Im 5 weeks in, get mixed days, not really cravings but sometimes I would like to have a nice cup of tea and a fag sometimes, but im not dumb. I know I can't even have one because im an addict. I also get days when I hate it, and laugh at those fools clinging onto their little fag sucking it like a baby sucks a dummy.
Eating a lot more than I should, so im hoping to start the gym this week and cut back on eating snack stuff (which I hardly ever ate as a smoker).

One thing I have noticed as the weeks have gone on is although I feel alert, I also feel a lot more tired in the evenings. This evening for example, since 7.00pm, i've hardly been able to keep my eyes open.
Not sure if this is related to the quit five weeks in? Been happening since week 2-3 ish.
Have to agree with Joan & yourself on the food front - I ate like a weeks worth of food in one day yesterday
BUT... as my auntie reminded me - even if I turn into whale girl it dosn't matter, weight I can always losr afterwards - I'll never be able to get a second pair of lungs!
