How many times have you quit?

I would say im into double figures. But each time I smoke a lot less after. Eventually I know I will quit. Starting again today (quitting that is). Wish me luck.

I honestly have no idea - if we count every time I said to myself....

"After this pack, that's it. I've had enough of this s***"

Then, thousands of times.... unfortunately, I nearly always bought a new pack within an hour or 2 :o

Serious attempts, probably 5 or 6 - only 2 have made it past a month though, one 9 month quit a few years ago that failed because I hadn't educated myself and thought I could get away with just one

Now this one - I know I am an addict and can never take in nicotine in any form. This quit will never fail, never another puff!

about 6 serious attempts for me - none apart from this one even made it past the 3 week mark :o

Never tried to stop before, one time I tried to cut down and went a full 8 hours before I succumbed again. David
