Hi All

Up to week 2 forum , still hanging on , still not had a puff , never thought i would last this long , feeling a lot better i was a roll up smoker i did'nt like filters so you can imagine the state of my tongue and inner mouth , last year a had a lump underneath my tongue it was cut out at hospital , i came out of hospital with a roll up hanging out of my mouth as usaul . anyway a day at a time we'll see how it goes , im feeling good the now thanks everybody

Day 8 - you are doing fantastically well! What an awful thought of having your mouth operated on and then going for a fag! Something to think about in those moments when you think it might be a good idea to just have the one. Yuk!

So pleased you staying strong.

I remember coming out of the dentist having had a tooth removed, mouth was totally numb but I still managed to spark up outside. It was all I could think about. I couldn't wait for the 3 to 4 hours for it to be back to normal.

Nice to have freedom back.

Pull up a chair as you are going to last a lot longer than you have so far even.

Be pleased you've done well so far in, and congrats to you your progress, but looking at your post here, i think you know only too well now that this attempt is only just beginning really, and you are going to beat this. You beat this rab, and life can throw whatever it likes at you, as you'll have proven you can handle quite a bit more than the average joe can.

I am convinced that folk who've never been through this have no idea what we are going through while quitting, but i am ever grateful when they do say well done as it encourages me to go further with it.

So well done so far, still more to do, but well done with everything you've coped with this far in.
