I know that it is still early days but I have now been taking champix for 4 days and have noticed that I can't smoke a full cigarette anymore!!! Hopefully this is the start of me not needing those little death sticks.
Have a slightly headache this morning after having my morning coffee and cigarette, so maybe this will be the way my body is going to deal with my having a cigarette, (if a smoke I have to put up with headaches, and thats one of the things I really hate having:eek
Well hope that everyone is staying strong and winning this battle, all the best for the day ahead

Champix sounds like its starting to work already! I started Champix on 14 July and had my last ciggie on 23 July. Now at Day 8 without one.

Hi all just got back in from taking my youngest to the hospital for a check up, and have noticed that I left my cigarettes on the kitchen table:eek:
I haven't even thought about having a cigarette in the last 4 hours till I saw the packet on the table
Hopefully this is the start of my independence from those horrible little sticks, but I'll just put the packet in the draw just in case its to early for throwing them away yet.
At this moment its early days, but do this at the pace you are comfortable with, and happy with and the best of luck to you. share your experience good/bad on here, and lets hope to see you cruising through the forums on your quit.
