Wasnt the odd one out!!!

Ive got my grandaughter all weekend while my son is at a wedding in Ireland. My friend Jean who quit on the 1st June asked if i wanted to go to the pub with my grandaughter as another friend Laura was bringing her two children and they could play together. I wasnt too sure as I knew that Laura smoked and Ive not been sat drinking while someone close was smoking, in the end I said yes as Mark came home from work exhausted and I knew my little angle wouldnt leave him alone so off we went. We had a great time and Laura was smoking loads and it didnt bother me at all even though it stunk, the thing is she said she felt the odd one out as she was the only one smoking. Jean is doing really well but she did say that she could have taken the cig off her she was suffering big time, she has gone CT and has coped really well up to the last few days. I left after a hour as needed to get little one fed and bathed.

I felt really good walking home feel like Ive jumped another hurdle and today

Big Milestone Completed

Hey well done Mel, Thats brilliant.. I went to my friends yesterday and all 5 of them were smoking, and it was my first day off NRT patches, so as u can imagine I was really testing myself, but yeah I did ok, even though I struggled, got through the first day and now on day 2 NRT free... About time really been stopped smoking over 3 months Ha ha Kaz x

Well Done! I have given up smoking now for one and a half months and have been out with smokers when drinking. I thought at first that I would cave in, but I feel so much better not smoking now. Great news Keep it up.
