Hi

Well i have reached day 2 and its not been easy but im still motivated and confident. I had to deal with some passive smoking most of the afternoon from work which im not happy about because it will damage my breathaliser score thingy at the smoking group.

And the way home was abit daunting going past the shop where i used to buy my next pack of fags everyday, but i did it

The 1st week is a bit of an endurance, stay strong and get it out of the way for good, if you keep the resolve there will be no need to repeat it again!

Stay strong today!!!! Day 3...... seems so tough now but if you just keep going, it gets easier..... so much easier. Face those craves with the knowledge that soon you will not have to feed your addiction day in and day out, all day long, ever again!! Good luck to you.

You are doing really well. It may seem strange going past the shop where you used to buy cigs, but pretty soon it'll become the norm. And you can use that money for so many better things too.

I'm right there with you - but I'm barricading myself indoors until tomorrow! where is your smoking group? I need to be in contact with others doign the same... help!

Hi want-afreshstart. Well done & welcome to the forum. If it puts your mind at rest I live with a smoker & my CO2 reading was down to that of a non-smoker when I had it checked. Although we'd much rather not passive smoke obviously it did not affect that Gaynor. xx

Hey Im Going to the local stop smoking group in pontefract west yorks it makes a difference going and being around people going through the same stuff
