This is my second day on champix, and the only thing i feel different is this bit of a head ache now and then, but it is bearable.
Mmm strange??
But other than that, I feel ok

Hiya Scousegitt,
Just keep with the champix, it certainly works for me. I quit on day 11 of taking the tabs, have had the nausea feeling with the morning tab, and some vivid dreams although thats all stopped now. I see my GP next Wed, she does my blood pressure and asks how I am feeling. Champix does have some side effects, they don't always affect everyone the same. All I can say is........Champix is doing it for me and I am so pleased to be a NON SMOKER.
Good luck with your quit, this is a great forum with lots of support and friendly banter. Love J. x
Hey there Scousegitt
I agree with everything that wantostop said.
I have also quit using Champix and apart from the odd time feeling sick and the very vivid dreams I have been OK and I do feel they have helped along with my quit.
So with that said keep going and never doubt your decision to quit. You made the right choice

Hi Scousegitt
Stick with it,champix worked for me and lots of others on here
As for the headaches it's not just felt by champix users it seems to be fairly common for everyone
It's beacause you're getting more oxygen in your blood and therefore of course to your brain and will sttle down quickly as your brain realises your no longer feeding your body a load of chemicals
I'm glad you feel fine except for the headache

I am going to be glued to your story as today is my first day on Champix so we can help each other out and we will do it!!!
Well done!
Hello everyone,
This is my day number two, i'm doing it on patches and gritting my teeth... finding it a little bit hard today, but i'm sure it gets easier?? if not then feel free to lie to me.
Never been on one of these chat forums before but right now i will try anything.. even the ironing pile looks appealing. Jesus.
Anyways, i wish you all the very best of luck, i'm just taking it a day at a time , ( ok, ok so its 30 minutes at a time right now )and appyling my 12 step programme.
