12th day - major panick attacks

I quit now for 12 days. I am happy that I quit and doing my best to continue. I feel my heart pounding occassionally and some panic attacks. It has been off and on since I quit and I've mostly been trying to deal with it by relaxing, yoga, tea, baths, or keep busy.

Reaching day 12, is a great achievement.

The 1st few weeks can bring with them some anxiety etc but as time passes it gets much easier and you become used to being a non smoker.

Keep up the great work,

Nic

Hi Free

Huge well done on getting to 12 days :)

I can sympathise with you as i suffered with panic attacks during the first month of my quit, not all the time just ever now and then they would strike....mine were due to missing my little white stick friends and wondering how on earth i could possibly survive without them..

Im now at the end of the 2nd month and they have gone, when they went i cant be sure but they have been gone at least 2-3 weeks now.

I did similar to you by keeping busy which helped take my mind of them.

Good luck and hope they pass for you soon.

Dee
