I know these are a personal taste, some like them others dont BUT i have not seen many being used for quite some time and i dont think anyone who quit since January uses them.
Some of us oldies used them a lot, particularly at the start of our quits because it is very encouraging to see another milestone coming up soon and that alone can help keep you strong.
This is what they work out for you (and display if you want.......)

I was looking at a few of these the other day, its a shame this forum doesn't allow images in the signatures (I don't think so anyway?) so we could have our stats updating all the time.
I have had mine for a while now I like it because I can see at a glance what I have saved, how many I have not smoked it also tells me my milestones which is great and I normally check it once a day more if I feel a bit down as it makes me feel better though feel down less and less often now
