Here are a few things that i found useful for cravings
Housework - Because it kept me busy and gave me something to keep my hands occupied.
Plenty of fluids - I found coffee to be the best but i drink a lot of it anyways keeping your self hydrated is important and i found myself getting thirsty while quitting.
Eating - My normal weight is 61/2 stone and i am 18 years old some people see me as underweight so eating well is an advantage for me as i need to gain weight but i eat pretty healthy and have a lot of fruit.
Mints/Hard boiled sweets - The sugar kicks my craving away
This forum - This forum plays an important part to me quitting when i have a craving i read all the support i can get, and also it makes me realize quitting can be done patches or no patches,
Medication - Whatever suits you best i have the patches and they do help although i do try to use nothing.
Sleeping - I have a nap when i need one but quitting is making me tired maybe it is because my body is using more energy to recover itself.
Them are the main things that is helping me and i hope that you maybe find them useful .If you have any more tips please do share them so i can try new things.

I drink a lot of coffee to as do not like tea but when I found myself awash in it at the start of my quit I began to use fruit teas which my lovely Polish daughter in law introduced me to it is refreshing thirst quenching and has no caffeine so I alternated it with coffee also nice cold last summer used to make a jug up in the morning and when cold put it in fridge for use during day
I also have a puzzle book to keep both brain and hands occupied and am on here a lot
I'm only on day 12 of quitting but some things I have found useful so far:
(1) Lollies - gives me something to do with my hands and gives me the sugar that I seem to crave now to replace fags
(2) Really nice coffee - caffeine addiction replacing nicotine addiction maybe, I don't care - it's yummy and seems to kick my cigarette cravings into touch
(3) Running (or any form of exercise) - both distracting and I get a post exercise buzz that makes me feel great and realise how much healthier I am now without the evil fags!
(4) Mentally calculating how much I have saved - distracts me for a while cos I'm really bad at mental arithmetic and motivates me cos I can wonder about what to spend my money on instead

John - Nicotine Free for One Year, 22 Hours and 47 Minutes, while extending my life expectancy 31 Days and 20 Hours, by avoiding the use of 9174 cigarettes that would have cost me £2,420.25.
