Hi

I've been taking Champix for six weeks now - have quit for just over four. Still having mad dreams and think about fags a lot. Can anyone tell me how you feel when you stop taking the tabs? Thanks!

Hi Lissy,

And welcome to the forum. I didn't take Champix and so can't offer much advice on that topic. Having said that, reading the various posts from Champix users it seems to be the norm to have weird dreams.

If you are thinking of fags too much then you'll need to find some way to divert yourself. Maybe have a look at the weblinks displayed below.

PS: Have a look around the site and see what other information you can gather. There is a search facility above and you may wish to try searching Champix there.

no symptoms

I have not smoked in two weeks with the help of champix. However, I was feeling very sick and having problems sleeping so I stopped taking champix after being off the cigs for about a week. The sickness and weird dreams disappeared very quickly and the cravings didnt get any worse. Its still very hard but I keep myself going by thinking I am never going to go through this again. One smoke and I would have to start all over. I am looking forward to the day when I forget about smoking for even a few hours.

Hi thanks for replies. Dreams are still bizarre, but thinking about ciggies slightly less. I still love the smell when I pass someone smoking in the street, but NO WAY am gonna smoke again!
