I have just completed 2 months without a smoke and it feels wonderful Went to see no smoking nurse wednesday [she caught up after 7 weeks] it was quite funny, when i went in she said so you want to give up smoking so i just said NO i already have, anyway she measures carbon whatever and said it was up i asked about nicotine level knowing they don't measure it, she claimed it was not important, so then said but the nicotine is addictive to which she replied thats why we give you patches etc. i gave up on her at that point and said i would go to which she replied see you next week, I'm afraid i laughed and said whats the point and walked out.
I am still on 1 champix a day feel good so plan to cut them out from monday or at leadt go everyother day any advice gratefully received

Linda i shall definitely treat myself just a little maybe some makeup [make sure you treat yourself to] and maybe a coach tour holiday later in year if consultant says it's OK:rolleyes:
I weaned myself off Champix by snapping the tablets in half and taking a half every day and then a half every other day. This worked for me and I did this after about 8/9 weeks in.
You have done really well Margaret you should feel really proud of yourself.
