omg this was bl**dy awful

i had a HORRIBLE nightmare last night that i cant get out my head!!! it seemed so real !

i dreamt that i had made my husband come out with me one afternoon with the excuse that we needed to buy some paint for the garden fence. we didnt really need it but it was my excuse to go out cos i needed to smoke???

so we went and got this paint and he got the paint on his arm when we were in the shop. the paint then made one of his arms infected and it spread to the other arm (dont ask me how its just what happened) and then he got rushed to hospital. they amputated his hands and then we were waiting to hear if they would amputate his arms too

then we were at home one night and he came in all sad and solemn and told me he had to have his arms amputated too and started crying

OMG it was awful cos it felt so real!!! then all of a sudden he didnt have his arms anymore and i was hugging him but he couldnt hug me back - cos he had no arms

all i kept thinking was that it was my fault this had happened cos we didnt need the paint he touched but i made him go out cos i needed to smoke!!!

was so glad to wake up and find it wasnt real ! these tablets are doing WEIRD things to me!!!

  • Try not to worry about it, vivid dreams are a part of quitting no matter what method you use...

They will pass. You're doing great, don't let them get to you once you have realised they are dreams. :)

Welcome them as a sign that your body and brain are recovering from their addiction to a powerful stimulant!

  • Sounds horrific but, it wasn't real and all part of the tablets.

I tend to dream about something that is on my mind but, it's not exactly how it is. i.e. My daughter is attending her first funeral on Friday and I dreamt that all the people that went were staying in a hotel, they were all teenagers as thats generally who she works with and this guy was one of their managers. It seemed really real but, I think it's just your sub-conscience and the tablets working together.

Hopefully you won't get too many horrific experiences, can you try and relate it to real life?

p.s. it does get better, x

well my hubby is a soldier and iv been thinking a lot this past week about the injured ones that were on the x factor on saturday (that have had limbs amputated or blown off etc) and how id like to maybe do something to raise money for the charity so perhaps thats where the no arms thing has come from.

it really was horrible though :(

it made me realise that i have done desperate things like make excuses to go out just to smoke though!! which encourages me even more with the quit! i dont want to be that person ever again
