I too amusing Champix and found them to be fantastic. I have never been able to get past 24 hours of not smoking in the past 34 years. I will be quit for 7 weeks tomorrow.
The positive gains far outweigh the symptoms from the tablets (nausea, weird dreams etc) so stick with it. I have dropped the tablets down to one a day now - I take it at lunchtime so that my sleep is becoming less affected.
day one is brilliant - it means uv made that decision which is a big step. I am on day 5 now and I've never felt better, however I too am feeling that feeling.
It's like u've lost something eh? What to do mate is keep busy and not dwell on that feeling (otherwise u will make it worse). The trick is 2 keep occupied.
It's a weird experience on day 1 of the quit with Champix. Previously when I quit with patches, I was anxious and used to desparately look for things to do to stop me thinking about smoking, I wasn't prepared to feel the way I did with Champix.
Good luck with your quit and enjoy your lollipops!
