If you're referring to "Scandal" by mr carr it's actually about the scandal of NRT and the fact that he's been dissed by the NHS.
If it's the John Profumo affair please accept my apologies...
Still a good read though.
You have to admit he knew a gravy train when he saw one....
My friends are very happy with me I'm a realist I call a spade a spade and they know I have a sense of humour I guess that could be one of the reasons I'm not finding this quit as difficult as I thought it would be.I don't let little things get to me stress seems to be the main reason people start smoking again.
Me too, i'm forever upsetting snivelling spineless wimps in work and indeed everywhere else.... a spade is a spade in my book.

well i hope your referring to a garden spade and not something else!!! thanks for your words but i wasnt implying you were stressing over little things. i was implying your comments are sexist and uncalled for
Really not sure who is being serious and who is joking here
So I shall ignore all of it and answer the original post... guaranteed safety that way
A little light reading can't go amiss and the Allan Carr book's - even if they don't speak to you and flip the switch in your head that make you say "Of course, how could I not realise it before" in a forehead slapping manner, are still a great read and full of useful stuff.
People show up and get offended regularly here. If it bugged me that much I would hit the X in the corner, you haven't paid for any 'support' and it doesn't have a 100% quit success rate guarantee so let's not get things out of proportion here.
Although you sound as though the champix combined with your resolve will do the job just fine.
As you have already seen on other threads you will get plenty of support from people on here but like any mis-matched bunch on the internet there will be people that you just don't get along with.
If you find any of us irksome then just add us to your ignore list in the User CP settings then you need never read any post we make.
I think that some members are getting a little over sensitive over posts that may not have been meant the way they have come across and this has lead to other members posting back with comments that are not very constructive
Please let's leave this now and get on with the important matter of quitting
