Can anyone tell me why some people have a blue dot by their name and others have green, it's beginning to bug me!

Green simply means they are online at that moment

Well I'm betting you have a green one, always.

It shows green if you are logged in and viewing the board and blue if you are not.

There is an option to not show if you are logged in which leaves it as blue and you are not listed on the "front" page.
