easily get angry?

It is said that quitter are easy to get angry. Do you think so? I found it's true someway myself.

Good morning blessing!

Yes, when you quit smoking some people find they get short tempered. This can be either

1) the nicotine withdrawal in the early stages

or

2) When smokers have any form of emotion they tend to use smoking to control it. They smoke when happy/sad/upset/angry etc

So if you used your cigarettes in the past when you got angry then your body is probably adjusting to not having that to turn to so you are probably staying angry for longer.

As time goes on you will 'need' cigarettes less for this type of thing as your body learns to adapt.
