Congratulations, Helen.

You've done really well so far, and it's good that you're also doing other things to improve your life too - giving up smoking really does change your life, doesn't it?

Very well done!

That is a long list, I can't help feeling that giving up smoking gives one more of a "grown up" perspective on life.

Smoking is something that we started (well most of us) when we were young and daft, and have clung to ever since. IMHO letting it go cuts a link to being childish.

completely agree nic, i definetley feel more grown up which is strange and not something i was expecting!!! its not like i felt childish before or irresponsible but i have a more positive outlook and feel like i am in control of my life. I suppose in a way i was clinging on to something from my childhood and hiding behind it, so relieved to be free :D
