*slap*

Pull yourself together, Woman!

Seriously - you know as well as I do that a crave is just a crave. It will go away, it will - they always do.

Can you take a walk, or take some other form of excercise? Or Valium? (just kidding).

Helen, you can do this - you know that and I know that. You just need to re affirm it in your own mind. Read some if it helps, walk some or do whatever you need to do to get reconcentrated... just do not smoke.

Hang in there, you know that it won't last.

**sobs** not coping....back at work.....craving like crazy....**sobs**Helen, if the cravings are really getting to you, why not consider an aid to stop. Lots of people on here have had some sort of help to quit. There is nothing to feel guilty about in using ANYTHING that can help in keeping us quit. I used Champix, but others have used N.R.T., read books, inhalators - anything in fact, to help us stay stopped. The things that l have mentioned really do help, and if they help with the cravings, why not take advantage?

Hi Helen,

I've been so impressed at your resolve going CT, don't give in now!

Stay strong, focus on how well you've been doing and how much you have achieved so far.

Hope you are feeling a bit better by now.

All the best,

Nic

Tomorrow will be a better day.

Take from today a reminder of the fact that what you have achieved so far is no mean feat, and you never want to let yourself get knocked back to day 1!

All the best,

Nic

well feeling much brighter this morning, i was really shocked how tough yesterday was! i hope i don't have to go through another one of those for a loooong time!! i don't think it has helped that i have loads on my mind at the mo and also i have put on a couple of pounds (2!) so that just made me feel cr@p...but hey ho onwards and upwards....

A couple of pounds is nothing to worry about. Much better to carry a couple of pounds than to smoke. Once you get to the easier stages of the quit, you can excercise and have much more energy to do it with.

Very happy to hear that your feeling better.

Onwards and upwards indeed.
