When I came off the lozenges I was fidgety, but ok after about 36 hours!

Hang on in there

I remember the same thing when I came off patches during my only long term quit previous to this one (around 8 years ago - ish).

Every step down in strength and then when I came off it was the same - you may find your sleep is disturbed a little on the first night also, was the first step down for me but ok the next.

Just your body adjusting to it's new level, very good news that you're not craving.

Hi Tracy

I agree this happend to me on my quit last year using patches. Give it a day or so and things will get back to normal. xxxx

Hi Tracey - sorry I have not been around for abit! You know the same happened to me when I stepped down - great news that you are not craving - how are you getting on now?

Probably best just to take the mentality when you first gave up and keep busy!!

Chris - Free and Healing for One Month, Twelve Days, 8 Hours and 47 Minutes, while extending my life expectancy 4 Days and 9 Hours, by avoiding the use of 1271 nicotine delivery devices that would have cost me £369.23.

The reason you are probably feeling angry and fidgety is because your body is getting less nicotine that it was being fed before, because the patch contains less.

It's good that you are not craving though, I just found it best to keep busy until the feeling passes and your body adjusts to the new level.

Not what you're looking for?
