I hope you got past you craving - your post was the middle of the night in the UK - but to answer your post anyway, hopefully to benefit next time :)

No you don't.

Your addiction wants one, that's all.

Nobody NEEDS a cigarette. There is nothing in the world that is made better by poisoning yourself. All you have to do is choose not to give in to the craving and it will go away.

(I know that's a bit harsh, but it's true)

Every one is different, but one thing is for sure it will get easier.

well, someone said the first week is the worst. But I'm in the second week , and I feel worst nowHi Blessing, as l recall, l think that the 8th, 9th, and 10th day were pretty horrific for me. I think it was made worse, by the fact that, l wasn't expecting it. I had thought that, if l can get over the 1st week, everything will be alright. It wasn't! The good thing is, by tomorrow, you will be feeling a lot more positive.:)

Blessing

everyones quits are different. What is a good day for you could be a bad one for someone else and vice versa.

The one thing to remember is that the longer you go, the easier it gets and soon (very soon) it will be very easy for you.

You may still have one or two cravings BUT they get easier and easier to deal with.

Stay strong blessing and you will stay quit!!

I think I detect sarcasm - a joke. Joking that thats the fight we all face, to smoke or not to smoke.

That is in very bad taste, sleeper. I would suggest against jokes on that subject ;)
