Here I am on day 20

Here I am again.

Feeling good on day 20, getting on towards the next milestone - 3 whole weeks :D

I really enjoying this now! (how wierd does that sound?) But I'm ticking off the days, filling in my journal, feeling great - and it's not tricky anymore, the cravings are few and far between and those I do get are so easy to dismiss that they aren't really worth mentioning.

I know that I sound incredibly smug, and perhaps even patronising - Sorry for that, but I am so very pleased with myself and despite the challenges ahead... I think I deserve a little self gratifying pat on the back :)

    well done.

I truly believe that the way you are feeling now is the way most of us feel at about that stage.

Yes we still get the odd urge or feeling about having a cigarette but it is so mild that it is easy to say no!

Remember the "urges" at the start of your quit?

Remember how strong they were in comparison to now?

Isn't it a GREAT feeling to be able to say NO, i dont smoke!!!!! when one of these new "cravings light" hits you?:D

Oh yes, isn't it just! It's a wonderful thing to feel so much more free, and so much more alive in such a short space of time.

I just posted in that thread as well :D but basically I'm going to cut my dose at the begining of next week to see what happens - thanks for your advice on that one (just common sense really if you stop and look at it, I knew I was overthinking as usual) :)
