Now on day 29, week 5, so think that qualifies me for the "Month 2" room - YEAH!!!!! - if not, kick me out (and see if I care!:p) Hopefully me team-mates will turn up here today too - WHERE ARE YOU ALL???????
That's 580 fags not smoked and £145 saved (quick calculation as I'm at work, and quit meter in only on pc at home)
I never EVER want to be a smoker EVER again! What was I thinking of for the past 30 years?????? Gawd, I consider myself fairly intelligent, :rolleyes:but c'mon what a moron I've been! What a waste of time, money and effort!
Been a wee bit up and down on the Champix, am now taking one in the morning only. I am still wary of totally coming off them, so will wean myself over the next couple of weeks.
I so admire the CT quitters, don't think I could have done that, but am looking forward to being free of the Champix also.
Have a good "Smokefree " day y'all

Oi, pal...no jumping up the ladder! Get back to the room you're supposed to be in and stay there! Lest you want me to come and chain you to the kitchen sink

Unfortunately I did'nt have a choice about going CT, firstly as due to a medical problem I self medicate on various meds that means it would be a risk to mix meds, secondly I did'nt like the idea of quitting smoking with patches and then having to quit all over again when coming off patches or any other NRT product.
I have actually found going cold turkey really easy, was just the first week that was hell!, now I have'nt had any cravings at all.
Quit for one month, four days, 7 hours, 34 minutes and 14 seconds. 666 cigarettes not smoked, saving £183.23. Life saved: 2 days, 7 hours, 30 minutes.
