I'm so happy to report I'm on Day 5. The cravings have died down for me...I think Day 4 was the best day I've had so far. No cravings, and I hardly thought about smoking. I hope today turns out just like yesterday. Day 2, so far, was my worst day. I'm hoping I won't have another anxiety craving attack like that again.
On the plus-side, I have started working out. It's helping me, but my eating is getting out of hand. I've tried to change my diet and eat correctly, but I end up eating everything I can get my hands on by the end of the day, especially the snacks my husband keeps in the house. My appetite is HUGE. I feel like I always need to have something in my mouth, especially at nighttime...it's the worst at night.
I'm sleeping more, too. Don't know why. I'm up early, but I nap a couple of times during the day.

Hey want2win, well done! You're doing so good, keep focused, feel how strong you are, be proud of each step you take.
Your symptoms must be a cold turkey thing because mine were similar, I was extremely hungry in the evening/night and I would always feel sleepy and take naps practically everywhere I could
As for the cravings don't be scared, you've seen how it works, they DO go away and leave you alone in the end, they might come back so be ready and never panic, nothing bad is going to happen
Hi - Congrats on day 5!! You are doing great. It MUST be the cold turkey thing because I am another person who felt EXACTLY what you have been going through. It's terrible at the beginning, but it does get better. Hang in there ~ there is light in the middle of the tunnel
