I know it's 20 minutes early but we are now 6 month + members!!!!!!!!
Wow and wow again.
On our first days here we occasionally looked at the posts in the 6+ forum with awe at the achievements that the people had made. We never thought that we could make it here.
6 months go by so quickly.
I remember the struggles with the frst few weeks. So nearly gave in so many times.
Good luck to all who have supported us and all the new quitters about to join us.
Happy new year.
:)

Suddenly realised it's been over 6 months since I started the no smoke journey - took 1st Champix June 26th. Taking nothing now. Since then I suppose I've had 8 blips but consider myself now as a non smoker. I really can't believe I've managed so long.
For all those of you starting out it DOES get easier with time, stick with it.
BUT I know I mustn't get complacent - even now I get the odd urge- and I've got some crap days ahead of me very soon so will keep the inhalator with me just in case!!
You guys are so lucky to have each other in this quit! I am myself pretty lucky too since hubby also quit smoking right after I did, sure he used to smoke just maybe a couple cigs a day tops but quitting is indeed hard no matter how many we used to smoke, the brain feels no difference...Anyway well done you two!
