Hello, I only found this forum yesterday and gee I wish I had looked for it 4 weeks ago as I really could have used the advice and strength of other people who have gone through the same thing.
Anyways, glad to be here, 4 weeks today and going strong, but as you can tell from my username, I'm eating anything in sight.
Now I have to try and kick that habit.

Hey we are on the same timeframe 4 weeks today too... In celebration I am cooking up a big pot o Mole chicken... I think it might turn out nasty actually but I could eat a horse right now. This morning bacon egg on a roll... for lunch a lamb platter from one of those middle eastern food carts. you can see I go towards the savory
Congrats and welcome.... 4 weeks is hopefully the beginning of living as a nonsmoker... if a slightly stockier one
Just the thought of Australia sound delightful with Winter approaching here in the NE US
I have almost made it to month 3 and I am still chowing down on everything and anything  Better than puffing away though
You are doing amazing - keep up the good work! You can worry about the over eating later on - right now you should reward yourself because 4 weeks smoke free is WONDERFUL!!
i also am eating but feel can sort that out in a few months once this smoking thing is sorted first
and its strange things i am eating more spicy food etc last night at work i had chilli con carne on pizza, it sounds bad but we have a great indian place near us that makes it and its great espesially if you have a hang over.
Welcom eon board Chocolate and grats on 4 weeks!!
Eat eat and eat some more!!
It's great to have the excuse and it keeps your blood sugar levels at an even keel
Don't even contemplate anything to do with weight for 6 months because you will lessen your appetite before then , your weight will balance out then you will have a true reading to start from x x x x
Besides christmas is coming and we'll all eat far too much then anyway hehehe
Wow you'll have hot christmas! and Beach BBQ's!!! mad to think of christmas in the sun for me, here in the icy cold depths of London!

Its a thick brown mexican sauce made from chili and nuts and seeds... I dont make my own as its compicated and involves alot of grinding so I buy it in a jar:(... it is a goal of mine to learn though... Turned out pretty good this time. Cooking is a great distraction for me... and then I get to eat
