Well it helps me so why not. Someone anonymous posted as reply, thanks for that. Try it, if you are feeling a little low, have posted a postman pat you tube clip....made me howl!!!
Try a blog yourself, at least you can write how you are feeling good or bad, vent your feelings. I know you can do it here, but I dont want to bore everyone with it!!

Read your blog. ANYTHING that keeps you from smoking is a good thing in my eyes.I realise that its the 'done thing' to smoke in France so you have my admiration straight away for even attempting to quit. How long have you smoked by the way?
The renovation can be a bit daunting, but we didnt pay a great deal for it so it can just get done whenever.
The livestock do keep us busy, we originally had 3 hens and a cockeral - that had to go in the pot as he was so aggressive. We counted today, and we now have 45!! Some are for eating - as one is roasting as I type, the rest are for eggs or selling the chicks as pure breeds. We have Brahma, Bechel Argente, Buff orpingtons, Polish bantams and marrons, which lay very dark chocolaty brown eggs!!!
Will post some pics of the pure breeds, some are spectacular!
The pigs brother is also in the freezer, but at least I know its fully organic meat, and know how it has been looked after.....Denise is vegetarian so its all for me!!
I have posted a better sample of bird pics onto the blog, as They are too big to post here
Struggling a bit today though, had a hangover this morning, the caramel vodka called us to it last night!!
The birds are lovely... I guess wacking a bird for dinner would be one way to deal with the no-smoking anger
When I was a kid my dad had a friend who had a small farm who we would go visit on weekend... all of the food was so incredible... makes me hungry just thinking about your pigs... sausage = good.
next weekend I am going to have to go to the Amish market... I am now craving sausage.. I may not make it that long... maybe to the yuppie mart after work.
Love your pics Dave.Have you lived in France long? Hubby and me want to go live in Tenerife in few years time. Our friends moved there three years ago and have never looked back. We go there about 4 times a year as it is!
We have lived here full time since June last year, but I bought the house 7 years ago. I lived here on my own for about 2 years - before I met Denise - while I renovated the inside. In between it has been just a holiday home, until Denise was made redundant at the beginning of last year.
