Can't believe I duped myself out of a week by celebrating with you all commencing week 5 last week, when in fact on that day I was actually ending week 5.
Today I completed my week 6 which in old money is an enormous 42 days. I cruised through my p*ss up in Geneva without hardly thinking about cigarettes. What's more though I still do get that angsty feeling occassionally, it's nowhere near what it was when I was carping on about it a while ago, and less frequent as well.
It's very encouraging looking down this room's recent posts how many familiar names are still in there celebrating excellent milestones. I hope that continues for ages yet.
Bye for now

Yeah it was fantastic albeit too brief. The weekend consisted of four friends who see each other about once a year having a good old blow out and just spent virtually the whole weekend laughing. You just can't beat that feeling or replace those kind of friends.
The weather was also spot on - sunny the whole time and high twenties, though since coming back here the weather in the UK has now picked up nicely. Can't believe summer finally arrived on the last day of July!!
