Hi all..

Hope you're all well and happy... Still going well - 13 weeks now and without NRT for three weeks...until tonight - for some reason I felt really down, - I mean really unsettled and realised what an awful year this has been so far. Really wanted a fag and just couldn't stop thinking of them - in the end had a piece of gum and feel ok now. You know how it is blame everything on the fags when really you know it's not so - just a warning to watch out for days like this to everyone just quitting - you can do this - gosh if I can, anyone can - ha ha

Buffy - good to see you're o.k too...Linda - hope things go ok with your son - you really are such a great and strong person dealing with everything - my thoughts are with you...Boudee - good to see you back on full form.. Wolfy - what can I say?..Stars each and every one of you..

Aw.. Thanks all - you're right Linda it's lovely to have friends on here and I really appreciate all your support - it's not just the fag thing is it? It's just having people to 'talk' too. I've been a bit crap and admit I had a cig - don't know why - it looked odd in my hand! Hated it but couldn't help myself -after all this time...but I won't have any more it was just awful.

I think you just get secure - thinking you're over it - then poof! it's all back as hideous as ever. I have now vowed to keep posting as much as I can although I'm off on hols Saturday - coming down to Devon - can't remember which of my buddies on here are from that neck of the woods? It will be glorious I know and I can't wait - just in a bit of a rut I think and I obviously still need the support on here!

Must get together for an AA meeting when I get back..looking forward to it!

We're desending on Lynton so if I were you I'd stay well South! My dad was down that way a couple of weeks ago and he's already warned the local police to look out for the mafia that are my adorable kids I believe they've drafted in extra help!

Can't wait - I've not been to Devon for about 13 years so it will be lovely to take in some sights, sounds and cider!

Lynton is in Devon and georgous, lovely walks beautiful countryside. Just down the road is a place called Lynmouth, great pub, good place to have a AA meeting its called the Red Lion and has a lovely wall to sit on outside and watch the world go by. Went there quite a few years ago with my kids and friends.

Hi Boudee - It's on the North Coast not far east of Ilfracombe. I shall definitely give the Red Lion a try and probably a few others to boot!!

We've decided to ditch the car and row down in the canoe

Will be great anyway whatever the weather..
