This has been a long winter in the UK and Ireland which often made it difficult to get out for a walk. I have been using You Tube walking workouts when I couldn't walk outside. They may not be everyone's cup of tea but they do prove that you can improve your fitness even when housebound. Exercise is so good for keeping the circulation going and the muscles strong - even gentle walking on the spot for a few minutes. Here's one that I use:
