Itchy skin reported to the GP was treated with a hydroxyzine 10 mg; this is only taken PRN as it really knocks my partner out so it needs to be slept off. Crazy dreams are another side effect experienced. My partner has a metal allergy so this itchy skin has caused that to flare up too so a cream was prescribed but is costly but that was part of the treatment for the metal allergy prior to the cancer diagnosis. So with continued use of that cream and the hydroxyzine relief is temporary. Still looking for relief and wondering if this is the chemo releasing itself from the body.
I am always itchy. Diagnosed 2012 Aggressive B Cell and 2014 Marginal Zone. I don't know if it has anything to do with the cancer, but I can relate. I feel like I itch to the bone. I do have extremely dry skin.
