Just wondering if anyone has tried natural alternative treatments to treat their lymphoma?

I've had NHL for 7 years+ , recently transformed to aggressive B cell and running out of treatment options. I go x2 a week when I can to to cancer rehab exercise course and believe in effectiveness of exercise to maintain remission and fitnmess to deal with cancer. I had changed my diet to much more healthy eating but disease in lower bowel has put paid to that at the moment.

i don't know anyone who has chosen any of the alternative treatments and found they've worked with NHL, maybe they are less effective with blood cancers which of course just move around the body when you deal with them in one area. There is of course hardly any research to confrim effectiveness of alternatives, just what people say has worked for them.

Everyone raves about turmeric: TURMERIC GOLDEN PASTE. ¼ cup turmeric powder or 2 ½ cm knob fresh turmeric, finely chopped; ½ teaspoon ground black pepper; ½ cup filtered water: 2 tsps coconut oil/olive oil; (optional: I cm fresh ginger, finely chopped). Cook all ingredients together in small saucepan on medium heat, stir well until mixture thickens – doesn’t take long. When paste has formed, remove from heat to cool. Keep in fridge and add to smoothies, dishes, whatever you want. A local haematologist recently said "the turmeric effect is similar to the next generation of drugs from thalidomide (velcade)".

Zellers natural health gets patients referred by docs when they can't do more. She used Gerson 24+ years ago. She has several alternatives besides Gerson (juicing, lots of veggies, soup, rye bread, etc.). Not all fun or easy but I've now met others who went through Gerson and are still living when they weren't supposed to.

I don't know of any alternative treatments but I have subscribed to Robert Miller's Lymphoma Survival site which has a large body of medical research and nutrition information. I must stress though that he is not a quack and is fully supportive of conventional medical treatment and support; the information he provides gives me a better understanding of follicular lymphoma, which my doctor would not have the time to do. I have adopted many of the lifestyle suggestions that he gives and have found them beneficial to my overall health.

Alternative treatments were not recommended by my oncologist when i was diagnosed... im told its not will it return but when it returns... so i retired this year as the alternatives can be like a full time job... i use essiac (ezzaec) for support of immune health. I don't seem to catch what's going around unless I run out so I try not to ever run out. I ordered Chaga tea bags as Chaga is supposed to be cancer medicine and I received Chaga from 2 friend's as I was completing chemo. My attempts are more to keep it away as I was told I'm treatable, probably not curable.

So I use a chi machine, walk almost daily, have plants to keep toxins out of the house along with air purifiers, and use certain aromatherapy for cancer.

I use natural progesterone as it helps my memory and I changed my diet to include fruit and veggie juices and other plant based food. I'm open to using far infrared and other alternatives.
