Feel helpless

Hey there guys, my best friend of 40 years has end stage renal kidney diease.He is 47 years old and a powerhouse,.that refuses to crumble and give up. He is on the national and I believe a local living donor list. I applied and was not a match

Anyways, my question as I feel like a helpless bystander now, If we can share ideas or brainstorm ideas that either a local community or just friends and family have coordinated a event, a walk, some form of raising money, or just ways to help inform the public with his story and need for help...I wanna get a bunch of us together to show him how loved he is .

GoFundMe, Facebook, contact your local news station/newspaper. People will get stickers made for their cars/signs for yards. Really the possibilities are quite vast.

You could reach out to his nephrology team, too; they might have some ideas (most have social workers on staff who could point you in a particular direction). Good luck!
