Hello my name is Kristel and my daughter Leah has been on pd since she was 5 days old !!!

She has also had open heart surgery

She does pd Dialysis At home everyday

We are still waiting for transplant

Hi Kristel, Leah is adorable! I'm sorry that I missed this post. My daughter did PD and HD for a year before her double transplant at 16 months of age. It is challenging but SO worth it! She is now 13 and doing really well - a happy rising 8th grader who starts summer today. Welcome to the group and please let us know what questions we can answer for you.

Thank you transplant was canceled they think she will clot the kidney so now we have to wait to cleared and come up with a plan again
