My son had a kidney removed due to a Wilms tumour 3 months ago. He has high creatinine and urea levels. Any suggestions as to what juices are safe for him to drink (he doesn't enjoy drinking water) to stay adequately hydrated

High Creatine and Urea
My daughter had Wilm's Tumor at 13 months. She is now 18 and doing very well. I'm sorry I can't help with the juice issue as that wasn't a real problem for us, and I don't know the answer, but I hope otherwise your son is doing well. How old is he?
Hi ! My son also had a wilms tumor. He always enjoyed apple juice , you can maybe dilute it with some water to start to get him used to water
You should definitely check with your renal team, particularly if you have access to a dietitian. When my daughter was small, pre-transplant, sometimes we were more successful having her drink seltzer. She liked the bubbles
Check with your renal dietitian but with my son we had to be careful about potassium. Healthy Balance grape-cranberry only has 15 ml and only 5g of sugar. You can always add a little water to dilute it as well. I am not sure of an apple juice off hand but I would look at potassium and try to find the lowest. Good luck!
My son was diagnosed with Nephronopthisis and CKD stage 4. He really loves Ocean Spray or Walmart brand Cranberry Apple, Cranberry Grape, and Cranberry Pineapple. We dilute it with some bottled water. These juices are low in potassium. They run about 55-65mg of potassium. But we have to watch potassium and phosphorous.
