YESSSSS!!!! 😊 I too was also diagnosed with FSGS about five years ago and I also went through the process of the journey, had a kidney transplant in 2021, so yes the illness does not define us it just makes us more motivated to keep THRIVING!!! ❤️
I also found out during the transplant process ( 8 months ago) that my particular kidney disease was FSGS - a defect in a particular gene. I offered a genetic sample " for general research purposes" at the start of the process and when analyzed, it confirmed the suspicion that my particular kidney disease was FSGS. Appreciated the article.
