Unless my Translation is Completely 'Off', and I don't think it is, you are asking about Transplants. You are either Due one, or maybe have rececntly had one.... my 'grasp' of Dutch isn't brilliant! I believe that you are asking about Medications too, possibly about Steroids- Prednisolone, maybe Others to. If so, then Rest Assured, that this IS quite Normal. Dosages can be, and often are, 'Changed' Many Times in the first few weeks/ months. (I think this is what you were asking about- or my Dutch is Worse than I thought!)
If we want to 'Communicate' more, it will have to be in two weeks anyway- I think we need a 'Translater' else we risk many Mis-Understandings.
My dr told me there is a different med beside tacrolimus but it didn’t work as well. I personally would rather loose hair and have a kidney so I told mine no. Other medication may work for some but with lupus and my other health problems I don’t wanna risk it on myself. I am on 4 msg a day 2 mornings 2 nights . Best of luck to you.
Hi, I’m one year out from my surgery. Here at my transplant center, patients are on Tacrolimus (Prograf) for one year, or a little less. During that time my hair definitely got thinner. I’m off of it now, hoping and waiting for it to grow back in. I have read where other people say it does grow back once you stop the Tacrolimus. Though it could take up to 18 months before it starts to grow back. Maybe your Doctor can rearrange your medications for you. Please don’t stop it on your own.
Just to let you know what I am taking, I am taking 5 mg of prednisone once a day and 750 mg of Celcept (Mycophenolate) twice a day. I also take Belatacept as a infusion once a month.
Hi! I have nothing additional to add to all the good advice you've received. I simply loved seeing your question in the Nederlands taal! I understood it well. (I also knew you would instantly change over to English.) My parents immigrated to the US from the Netherlands after WWII and I so miss seeing that part of my heritage. Thank you!
Thank you! My family sends greetings to you too! We trust your doctors will manage to return your hair to its normal state soon. Wishing you all the best in life!
