Personally I volunteer at my local hospital on the renal floor. Its probably not the safest, but I wear the proper personal protective equipment, wash my hands often, and stay out of rooms with COVID patients and/or airborne precautions. I find it very rewarding to be able to give back!

Many non for profits have volunteer experiences that do not have close contact with others or the volunteer work is outdoors. Even hospitals have community gardens. Just start making contact either by phone or online and share your questions. Good luck and let us know how it goes.

You can find your local donor network/donor alliance and become a volunteer. I am a volunteer and public speaker with the Wyoming Donor Alliance. They have a lot of events throughout the year that are held outside to bring the awareness of organ donation to the public. I have told my transplant story lately through ZOOM. I find it very rewarding and a way to "give back."
