Dear Transplant Friends,

I have been away on a 'Short Break', in Hopton, this week. This was one I 'Bunked In On A, very good time, had by all- reasonable weather, occasional rain (not much at all really, certainly not by day). Nice food, a swimming pool, comfortable accommodation (chalet type), friendly staff and good entertainment....what more could you want?

We, my Mother and me, caught one of the, quite frequent, busses into Lowestoft- on Wednesday. We, did however, FAIL to find England's 'Most Easterly Point' (someone sent us the wrong way!). However I did buy two new, very pleasant, ties from Marks & Spencer. The Coffee was good, at the café we called into and I, finally got to see the 'Life -Boatman' Tribute, by the Bastille Bridge, at close quarters.

The only 'Fly In The Ointment'.... My Mother had a Food Reaction- she has multiple food allergies- on the journey up. She had to Stop, our minibus, several times. The Driver was 'Amazing', as were the Others on the bus, so no embarrassment was caused.

The journey back was uneventful, apart from the Toilet Stop (no I wasn't, the ONLY one, who needed it!). Overall a very good break and, I know, that a 'Good Time Was Had By All'.

My next Holiday? Next month, more about that later....
