Struggling with 16 yr transplant

I will be celebrating 16 years post on on the 26th of Nov. Somehow my kidney not doing well creatine levels up. I have been homeless for a while..shelters are full. Does anyone know of any grants or resources that can help me have a bed at night indoors. Doctors keeping me hospitalized for now..hospital social worker is looking. I am a 54 year old woman no kids on disability. Thank you. I live in the SF bay area but will relocate if nrcessary!

I'm so sorry to hear about your situation. What city and state are you located? If you are more specific perhaps someone will have some ideas. Are you able to afford your medication? If you are struggling with that, is there an agency there for the homeless that knows where you can get medication assistance? Best wishes to you and you will be in my thoughts.

I am in the SF bay area CA. Insurance is fabulous here it's the cost of living. I thought i could like in my car and instead I was not taking my meds right cuz I lost my weekly pill holder nothing was ever in the right place and I got major PTSD. I have medicare and medi-cal

I've had my kidney transplant for 16yrs now on May 14th 2001 I got my second chance at life this in 2018 well you know it will be 17yrs
