Different types of HD machines

Hallo everyone.

I got a question about different types of hemodialysis machines, like Fresenius, B. Braun, mod. Formula etc. My treatment goes with Fresenius 5008S and it works pretty good. I have not experience with any other machine and wouid like to know how it works. Is it have many differencies or it almost equal? Does one type of machine provides better treatment than other?

Hello my mam went to a different unit for 2 weeks due to space in her old unit so she was told to go to the new one anyways when she was on the machine her bloods would drop really low and she would have a hypo she asked to return to her old unit when their was room she went back and it's rare she ever has any problems yes her blood pressure drops from time to time but her bloods have been spot on ever since she's been back at her previous unit so I definitely think they must use different machines and formula at different units
