Have any of you any experience using Resveratrol? I am aware this has come up before but about three years ago. I am wondering is there any further experience in the meantime. Did it impact eGFR?

I have been taking it twice a day for the past three years and it has been a great benefit to me, keeping my eGFR above 60 (approximately 70 range). Went from Stage 3 to Stage 2 and had remained that way for over three years.

There is good information online about the benefits of resveratrol to kidney function. My nephrologist said my kidneys are in great shape for my age (75) and to keep doing what I’ve been doing. Hope that helps. God bless!

Hello: I just started taking Resveratol 1000mg this week due to research and hearing good results from others using it. There is favorable information on it online at various health and medical sites. You can also put Resveratol in the search box on this site to see what others have to say about it. In the end, it is up to you. Check yourself and make your own decision. That is what I did. Good Luck to you. Questioned my Nephrologist about it and he saw no reason not to take it. There is no magic cure. Some people have had success and some people saw no difference. I'll update my results after I take it for six months or so. Best wishes to you.

I took reservatrol for several months, don't remember the dose. But it didn't make any noticeable difference. There's a lot of it in blueberries, which I do eat quite a lot of, 2 or 3 cups a day, also peanuts and unsweetened chocolate, which I also eat every day, in normal amounts. So given that I like a lot of the foods that its in and my kidneys are doing well, I guess I can't say whether its making a difference.
