Is there a relationship between asterxis and kidney failure? I HAVE A GFR OF 18.

Never heard of that, but after reading the article, I would say there can be many causes. Talk with your doctor!

waste that the kidney no longer filters. Other symptoms are confusion and not knowing where you are. Problem is a result of kidney failure.
