I'm stage 3a, diagnosed late last year. Neph says I'm stable, but wants to see me every 6 months and report any symptoms immediately. Just had my 6 month check and everything looked about the same as it did 6 months ago, except they found blood in my urine. Neph says that with my other numbers looking really good (except my creatinine), he doesn't feel the blood is kidney related and has referred me to an Urologist. Any others had any experience like this?
A little worried: I'm stage 3a, diagnosed... - Kidney Disease
A little worried
It could also be urology related ? I have had this situation and was not due to CKD. Keep us posted on results from Urologist.
it can also be the kidney as well usually it s always the kidney but we need to the find out the cause of it
My CKD was caused buy an autoimmune disease called GPA, a form of Vasculitis. It caused me to have blood in my urine. I'm in remission now and asked my Neph how he would know if I'm having a flare and he said by seeing blood in your urine again.
hello, thank you for your post. I am stage 3b and like you my labs are completely normal except for creatinine. So far I am doing fine and fell good except for the anxiety. But I am overwhelmed with “what to eat”. I’ve met with dietitians and have received the guidelines. Later this week I have more labs and then meet with my neph the following week. Since I’m 74 I don’t think I will do dialysis but try to maintain with diet and see how that goes. I will try to follow you and keep up with your progress
