Im a 42 year old male i haven't been feeling the urge to urinate lately..when i do alot doesn't come out..i had my kidneys checked and my GFR is 81.9 ...in 2014 it was 90..any thoughts?

No sir..but ive been told thats my next stop, ..its just at 42 i didn't think i had to..the whole thing is scary

I agree re prostate check. Nowadays 40 is a common age for issues which generally is benign prostatic hyperplasia (swollen prostate). It can be treated naturally in some cases eg my dad.

Read up about amd change your diet . Drink lots of pure filtered water .

Also get your postrate checked out sounds to me that could be the issue .

There is medication for this that will help shrink it so that you can urinate much easier.

Do not let this go you do not want urine backing up into your kidneys .

If you had kidney issues your eGFR would be lower. Your eGFR is in the normal range. Really sounds like it could be your prostrate. That is where you should start and do now. I am not a medical expert but ... If urine is backing up it could cause serious issues.
