Is Olivia vegan spread a good substitute for butter.

Personal taste is what matters here. But if you are trying to substitute something more healthy, this is not it. The contents which I listed below says it can be any combination of oils, not just olive and that makes me think they will use the cheapest type first. If you are trying to not eat animal protein, this might be a good choice. If you are trying to loose weight it has the exact same calories as full on butter. NO gain there. Ingredients: vegetable oil blend (palm fruit, canola, soybean, california olive, flax), water, contains less than 2% of salt, pea protein, natural flavor, sunflower lecithin, lactic acid (to preserve freshness), annatto extract (color). Contains: soybean.*
