I am stage 4 CKD and have been suffering with diarrhoea, feeling sick with cramps mostly after eating. After researching I think I may have IBS but have not been to doctor yet. I have lost half a stone in 2 months, which is a bit of a worry as I only weigh 9stone. Just looking for some advice really. Doctors aren't much help here in the UK. I don't think it's connected to CKD

We are not able to diagnose on this forum. Maybe best you contact a Doctor even if only via phone or virtual visit.

HI Jules, Whatever is causing the diarrhea it is not a good thing to have when you have CKD. You can become easily dehydrate which puts a huge strain on your kidneys. Best to get it checked out soon and see what you can do to fix the issue. It is also not uncommon an occasional issue with CKD, but it should not be chronic.
